The Waters We Swim In is a sacred, water-based portrait ritual designed to help you soften into self-love, reconnect to your own magic, and feel yourself as part of something larger.
This is not a photoshoot.
It’s a threshold.
An act of reverent remembering.
What to expect:
The Experience
Before the Session
– A short call to connect about logistics, timing, and what’s alive in you
– A gentle reflection form to support your inner preparation
– A curated list to help you feel cozy and held during your time in the water
During the Ritual
– We meet in open water, at a time aligned with your rhythm—sunrise, sunset, or even under the full moon
– Together we open a sacred space with conversation and guided meditation
– When you're ready, we enter the water and begin your ritual of being witnessed
– When it feels complete, we close the ritual on land, grounding and integrating
After the Session
– Within a few days, you’ll receive 3–5 artist-curated digital images to witness yourself as I have witnessed you—with reverence
– A video call supports you in integrating and honoring your experience
– You’ll have the option to select prints or a handmade book, crafted with care

In The Waters We Swim In Experience we work together using all our tools and magic to help you release whatever is holding you back. This creates so much beautiful space for you to call in whatever you most need to expand and step into a deep sense of self love, self compassion and belonging so that you can show up as your most authentic self bringing your gifts forward into the world.
And the world needs you and your gifts right now more than ever.
Getting Started
We’ll have a short call to talk about your session and logistics, dates, time of day etc.
I’ll send you a form to fill out with some basic info and and some questions for your deeper reflection and writing
You’ll receive a list of things you will need to have with you for maximum comfort and coziness for your session
Details
Sessions typically are around an hour, sometimes a bit more. They are always in open water.
Sessions may be at any time of day. The light before sunrise is especially magical but we will choose a time that works for you. I’ve even done a few at night under the light of the full moon!
We’ll meet at our chosen location and have a conversation exploring further the magic particular to you and your needs, wants and desires. I will take you through a gentle guided meditation/visualization and when you are ready, we go into the water.
When the ritual feels complete, we go back on dry land to close the ritual.
After your Ritual
I will send you 3-5 low-resolution images as fast as I can so that you can witness your own amazing self. This is a critical piece of your experience. I’ve held space and witnessed for you and now, you get to see yourself as I have done, with absolute love and unconditional appreciation. We’ll have a video call to review and support integrating your experience.
Depending on your selections for images, print(s) and handmade book, I will follow up with you to make those selections and arrange delivery.
