PARTNERSHIP WITH ALDO LEOPOLD FOUNDATION

I'm so pleased to announce a thrilling new collaborative relationship with a cause very near and dear to my heart, the Aldo Leoplod Foundation in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Who Was Aldo Leoplod?

Considered by many to be the father of wildlife ecology and the United States’ wilderness system, Aldo Leopold was a conservationist, forester, philosopher, educator, writer, and outdoor enthusiast. Among his best known ideas is the “land ethic,” which calls for an ethical, caring relationship between people and nature.

I'll be working at the Foundation as an Artist in Residence this November 12-13th, during the weekend of the Great Midwest Crane Fest which celebrates and provides opportunities to witness the incredible migration of the Sandhill Cranes, which were so beloved by Aldo Leoplod and which I love very much as well. I'll be installing four temporary interventions in the landscape to spark wonder and contemplation for visitors to the land. There will be a map and prompts to help guide your experience.

To commemorate this collaboration, we're offering this photograph for sale in a limited edition of 50 prints to support the ongoing work of the Aldo Leopold Foundation. Each one is printed by the photographer on archival paper and is signed on the back of the image.
