WATER PORTRAITS

These photographs emerged from a remnant of a half remembered dream.

The work began as an exploration, an improvised image of moment with a friend in the Rio Hondo in New Mexico.

It’s about the many waters we swim in, the things unseen, unknown, just below the surface. It’s Jung’s waters of the shadowy unconscious.

It began with women but has opened to include men - an exploration of the divine feminine and opening of the heart.
